Brucie was a three-year old gelding purchased in 2008 when he had just been backed. He was schooled to compete at 1.05 metres at BSJA and he was subsequently sold–on in 2010 to a young and up and coming show-jumper
Rosie was mischievous six-year old mare who would not behave properly for her owner. She was intensively exercised and was schooled at the training stables before being returned her owner who is now able to ride her with confidence.
Maxend is a great horse who would sometime put in a cheeky stop in front of the fence. Following training with Rafa Equestrian the horse is now fit and jumping nicely, calmly and consistently. Maxend has made great progress. He is careful and jumps with confidence around the most technical circuits.
In 2010 Rafael backed a number of horses including his wife’s own-bred gelding – Filet D’Or. This horse is a talented young three-year old with great potential for both show jumping and dressage. He has a wonderful attitude to work which reflects the gentle and professional job undertaken.
Rafael now hopes to begin his own breeding schedule with the intention of producing top quality horses using his own warm-blood mare.
