Rafa Equestrian has been established to introduce the best equestrian practises and products from Uruguay into the European market.
The company is owned and managed by Senor Rafael Antonio Villalba.
He was born and raised in Montevideo the capital City of Uruguay.
From the age of two his life revolved around horses and he was taught to show-jump by his Godfather and Professor Jorge Rossi – a well-known and highly respected figure in the Uruguayan equestrian market.
Rafael has represented Uruguay in a number of International competitions across South America.
In 2007, he left Uruguay to gain knowledge of the European equestrian market and to improve his English. Whilst working here in Wales he met his wife.
At home, he has two warm bloods with show-jumping and dressage bloodlines and Rafa Equestrian accepts youngsters to be trained and to be brought-on to a higher level.
Rafael has established himself in North Wales as a popular and well-known trainer, breaker and producer of horses. Rafael also trains the riders themselves and encourages them to compete at both affiliated and unaffiliated show jumping competitions which he also enters with his own horses.
Rafa Equestrian provides accessible and affordable solutions for maximising the potential of a horse no matter what its age or breeding.
